Cause my eyes to see
may they be focused on thee
in the midst of my longing heart
hear the beat
the crying deep
troubled mind be silenced with ears
brightened with eyes
than the light that brings a message sure
the song with melodies stir
hope springs anew no more adieu
and my heart captured by you.

Hi, just coming by to visit from Annie's Eyes. It's rare to find a poet in bloggyland. I've enjoyed several. I love that you appreciate the galaxies, too. The poetry and that appreciation tells me that you have maintained a child-like wonder and therefore a unique way of praising (poetry) that most of us do not possess, or do not take time to cultivate. Yours seems to spring forth!
